Employees get personal development opportunities to take NVQ’s and BTEC’s as part of apprenticeships partnership.

Environmental Essentials (EE) have partnered with Sutton Coldfield Training (SCT) to promote learning and development within the workplace by offering free apprenticeships to all employees.

This fantastic new learning programme is offered to employees as part of EE’s ongoing commitment to the personal development and wellness at work of all their people.

Staff have been given the opportunity to sign up for BTEC’s and NVQ’s in a range of subjects, including BTEC Level 2 & 3 in Business Administration and NVQ Level 5 in Management and Leadership.

We strongly believe that the personal development of our people is a key factor in the success of the business and as such have made a commitment to offer apprenticeships to everyone over the next 18 months.

Heather Butlin, HR Officer, who is leading the way with the development programme and supporting all employees with preparation for the apprenticeships, commented “ I am so happy to be able to lead on this programme, it is great for our people to have these opportunities and it is great for our business to have such skilled individuals working for us on completion of the courses”.

SCT have already successfully coached and supported 15 employees through an advice and guidance course, achieving 100% pass rate.

Mark Harvey, Quality & Technical Director of Environmental Essentials Ltd said “I am very pleased how the partnership with SCT has come together. Through the partnership we are able to offer all of our employees the same opportunities to learn and develop their skills in a subject of their choice that compliments their role. This has enabled us to harness the potential within our people and turn it into a business success”.

Having this as just one of the many positives on offer to their people, both new and existing, this demonstrates EE’s continued investment and engagement with employees.
