Key Services Background AGA Rangemaster employs field based service engineers that are relatively autonomous to the business. The business is diverse and the product range and services offered change to suit market demands. One of the recent developments has led to the de-commissioning of cookers. Early risk assessments enabled AGA Rangemaster to recognise the importance of asbestos awareness training for the workforce and decided to work in partnership with Environmental Essentials to deliver asbestos awareness training to all engineers. This partnership has flourished since 2007. Project details Environmental Essentials were able to support AGA Rangemasters business needs by providing tailored awareness courses at a number of geographical locations throughout the UK as well as carrying out Asbestos Non-Licensed Training for our Supervisors and Managers. Environmental Essentials conducted a Training Needs Analysis to understand AGA Rangemaster as a customer and offered a training package that was not only representative of their business needs but also engaged the engineers. AGA Rangemaster Case Study... The trainers were all extremely professional in their approach and talked through working examples with engineers whilst still following the agreed and prescribed syllabus. The feedback from all of the engineers was positive and their individual knowledge was tested at the end of each session. Thanks to Environmental Essentials we now have a team of skilled engineers that are aware of not only the hazards associated with asbestos but perhaps more importantly how to recognise asbestos and what action to take from then on. I would like to thank Environmental Essentials for their support and look forward to working with them in the future.
